To rent a cheap car in Guadeloupe, there are a few tips to know:
Booking online: prices are always higher when done over the phone or at the counter. Why? Because the competition is much less fierce there than on the web. Agencies must therefore offer more attractive rates if they want to sell.
Book as far in advance as possible: the earlier you book, the better deal you will get. Why? Because rental rates depend on the number of vehicles available. The more cars there are available, the lower the prices!
Picking up your car at the airport agency: in the Caribbean, the largest rental agencies are always located at international airports. When picking up your rented vehicle at Pointe-à-Pitre airport, not only will you find an affordable car, but you'll also avoid paying for a taxi to get to your accommodation. Finally, you will have a wider selection of vehicles than at agencies located in other cities or hotels. (Sainte-Anne, Sainte-Luce, Le Marin...).
Choosing the right vehicle: there's no point in choosing the cheapest car if it isn't suited to the purpose you will use it for. Many people think they save money with a cheap rental car, while they end up doubling their fuel consumption. To find a cheap car in Guadeloupe, take all the costs into account.
Follow these tips and affordable car rentals in Guadeloupe are within everyone's reach!

The choice of vehicle is very important. There is no problem moving from one island to the other - Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre - as they are connected. On the other hand, avoid the rush hours to and from the office as much as possible in the two major areas: Pointe-à-Pitre and Jarry. The speed limits are the same as in mainland France, and just like in mainland France, they must be scrupulously respected, speed cameras are present so be cautious.
